Tucked above the Klein River Lagoon in Stanford, Coot Club is one of those rare coastal stays that feels both rugged and welcoming. Surrounded by mountains and water, the setting is quietly dramatic, while inside the mood is lighter - bright, characterful interiors softened with a gentle nautical charm.

Accommodation is spread across a collection of whitewashed cottages and the Manor House, each with incredibly tasteful interiors that lean into a coastal, home-from-home feel - relaxed but beautifully put together. Soft linens, natural textures and bold nautical touches give the spaces heaps of character.
Some cottages suit couples, others work beautifully for families or groups, but all feel considered and comfortable. Expect fireplaces, verandas and views across the lagoon or gardens. These are spaces you’ll genuinely want to spend time in.
