Singapore is home to plenty of top-class hotels, you can’t go wrong, but incredible service, stylish interiors and a room with a spectacular view is what sets Ritz-Carlton apart from others. Located bang on Marina Bay, Ritz-Carlton boats superb views overlooking the bustling marina and across to Marina Bay Sands and Gardens By The Bay. This makes it the ideal base from which to walk out and explore this captivating city, right on the hotel’s very own doorstep.
This is a large hotel, with 608 rooms, however the service is very personal and our guests can vouch for that. With two restaurants, including Michelin-starred Summer Pavilion and Colony offering all day dining, the food offering it second to none. The Republic bar, which pays homage to pop culture in the 1960s, serves up original cocktails, high tea and legendary Sunday brunch.

Rooms and suites are simply classic with matt leather, glossy wood-finish panels, walk-in wardrobes and roomy, marble-clad bathrooms. The lead-in Deluxe Rooms are extremely spacious and come with views of either the Kallang (a residential area of the marina) and the National Stadium beyond or the Marina Bay enclave and the Singapore flyer, some rooms can accommodate an extra day bed to accommodate families. We’d recommend upgrading to the Deluxe Marina – for the views of Marina Bay Sands of course, or better still the Club Marina rooms for access to the lounge with panoramic views of the bay and complimentary breakfast, midday snacks, afternoon tea, hors d’oeuvres and cocktails as well as a selection of Enoteca-dispensed wines and Moët & Chandon champagne. Suites offer separate living rooms for those seeking that little bit more space.
