For a taste of old-world charm combined with modern style, The Warehouse is a boutique hotel, dating back to 1895 when it was originally built to accommodate the traders from the Straits of Malacca. Today, it has been meticulously restored as a modern 37-room hotel focusing on heritage and local culture. The Warehouse is located on the banks of the Singapore River in Robertson Quay, a vibrant neighbourhood about ten minutes’ walk from busier Clarke Quay and an easy river taxi to Marina Bay.

Elegant contemporary rooms are cleverly built into the original structure of the warehouse, with unique angles and beams creating an individual layout for each room. Historical character, modern design and all the latest mod cons creates a distinctive industrial-chic style. Lead-in Warehouse Sanctuaries and Lofts either have no windows or just a skylight so we’d recommend booking a River View Room, which are located on the ground floor of the hotel, or the stunning Riverview Lofts which, being top floor benefit from soaring peaked ceilings with the original beams, historic detailing and views over The Singapore River. The quirky Riverview Mezzanine has two levels with a separate reading library and the largest room in the house is the River View Suite with a spacious living area. Each room is fitted with a king-size bed with custom pillow top mattresses, Ashley & Co bath amenities and a selection of coffee and artisanal teas.
